It has been a while

The title says it all. I have been very busy with finals and other school related things. I feel very blessed to have such a wonderful wife. Today we decided how to split up the chores. I will clean the main rooms and the bedrooms while she does the kitchen and the bathroom. It sounds like a good deal.

We are excited for our trip home tomorrow. We plan to depart at 6:30 so we can go to the dog part and allow the children some exercise. Lady looks so cute with her new haircut. She hates to go to the beauty shop but her pain is worth the outcome.

Steve has been wonderful as well. He gave us a $70 gift certificate to the Italian Kitchen. I had acupuncture for the first time and it was very painful, but helpful.

Why Christians bother me!

I am tired of the Christian populous behaving in a non-Christian manner. One example is the critics of Joel Osteen and their representations that he is a false profit or false teacher. The message he teaches is one of hope and prosperity in the relationship with God and Jesus. Some critics claim that because he lacks seminary instruction he does not have a place teaching or relying on a "calling" from God. I look at other influential teachers that do not have the so called seminary teaching, for one the Apostle Paul, another Charles Finney (I am not as sure of this one, but I could not find any formal training). The calling upon an individual to serve the Kingdom of God does not hinge upon a formal training in seminary. All that such trite comments do to the relationship of Christians is to create strife and discontent. Such comments are made out of jealousy and not divine understanding. So the man whose name I no longer remember needs to look at himself in the mirror and before God and determine his true objective and if there is a calling upon his life or if he is a false profit sowing the seed of strife and discontent.

More of the Packers

It was a good day yesterday for the Pack. 7-1 is not quite a good as 8-0 but it is acceptable. Ellen and I spent the weekend doing very little. On Saturday I played with Sixth Ward and won the Spokane Stake Football Tournament. We had the intention of going to Braden's blessing on Sunday, but fell ill, and spent the day doing nothing. I think I will do some work now.

Packers beat Denver- sorry Tim

It is a little late to be talking about the events of Monday night football but I will anyway. It was a poor showing for the Packer's offense other than the two big plays. One in the first half and that beautiful play in overtime. It has been a good week. On Sunday the church had a potluck which was pretty good. It needed a few more salads and more food in general. A potluck should always have a large amount of leftovers. This week seems to be going very quickly but I am trying to rise earlier so that I can maximize the amount of time that I am awake. We will see how long it lasts.

Its Friday

Well the weekend is almost here. I am looking forward to flag football on Saturday and having a productive weekend. I am trying to volunteer at a company/governmental entity that specializes in helping people to secure their IP rights. Currently it does not seem that the company has any interest in me, since the majority of the work is patent related. Being that I want to do litigation it is not the best fit. Time will tell what happens. I am in the clinic which means that I should start working, so I will.

SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY

Today we went to church and were taught about eight ways to break through in relation to Joshua and Jericho. It was an enjoyable lesson. After the service we went to brunch with the Pastor Fred Pace and his wife Sharla. It was a different experience for me having grown up in large churches to see the community at work in a church. I have decided I like the Assembly of God and the small church setting. I am putting a link to the church homepage in my links when I finish writing this. Ellen went to the store and I think Bed, Bath in Coure de Alene. Hello to my family. Heidi I hope everything is going well. In our lunch we talked about missions abroad. They tend to do short ones, but seem to like Romania and the Gypsy people.

God Bless

P.S. Sow the the teachings of Christ in all that you do and you will be blessed.

I think we have found a church home that we will keep in touch with even when we are back in Minnesota.

This weekend

This weekend we went to Mount Spokane and hiked with the puppies. It was a productive weekend overall. The Church service was about the different aspects of life other than money where we need to sow. Both Ellen and I enjoyed the sermon and took some helpful points away from it. This week I have a mid-term in Con Law. I find that I enjoy the subject matter, but the way the professor teaches the class leaves something to be desired. I find this is true in regards to most of law school. It is just another hoop that needs to be jumped through. Time to listen to something I will have to teach myself later.

You say it is your birthday!!

Well it was Ladybug's 8th birthday today. We celebrated with a trip to Mt.Spokane for hiking. You would think that 3 1/2 hours of hiking a mountain would wear out the doggies, but alas the only one taking a nap afterwards was Dan. I had to make birthday dinner which included, turkey meatloaf, green beans and mashed potatoes. Dan was the only one who did not clean his plate, of course he had consumed a bowl of spaghetti and meatballs and a giant sub sandwich prior to dinner. We gave Ladybug her birthday gift of a new hedgehog squeaker and it has taken Sullie about 20 minutes to confiscate it. I have Monster cookies baking in the oven and Dan is getting his sports fix.

If I were a rich man la la la la la

So, today was a good day. I know have the task of outlining a clients history in detail since 2001. Cant say I am terribly excited. Ellen has an interview with Banner Bank tomorrow. There is a little dog barking, I wonder what it would taste like?

I have been thinking about the future lately. What I can deduce is that I have no idea what is in front of me. I feel each day I take steps forward and steps back. I think after I finish this entry I will e-mail Harold, though I am not sure what I am going to say. It was a dull day here, but the beat goes on, and on and on and on.
For now I sign off

Dan's understanding so far:

It is Tuesday. The week is not almost over. Last night I did homework and spent some time with Ellen. I talked to my friend Jason about the Dallas final second win over the Bills. It does bring us some joy since the Bills are Josh's favorite team and it is good to see him in pain. The Yankee's are out of the playoffs, so it is up to the Red Sox to beet the Indians.

I have volunteered for an organization Sirti in an attempt to get some experience in the IP field. I will see if I can help them in any way.

My relationship with Ellen is at an all time high. We are clicking on all cylinders. I believe the Lord is working in our lives to show us what our true purpose is. With that in mind the first part of the prophecy needed to come to pass, that I must take action to treat Ellen with the same care and love as Christ showed to the Church.

What a great/horrible day

The day started wonderfully. Ellen and I went to a small assembly of
God church in Post Falls, then went to a nice family restaurant for breakfast. It was a place with wild game on the menu and stuffed game on the walls. Ellen was a little disturbed by this but it was good food. We are thinking of starting a family tradition of going out for breakfast after church. We came home took a walk with the dogs and I studies while she took a nap. That was the good part of the day.

The horrible part started well. The Broncos were destroyed by the Chargers. That makes me happy. We went to a sports bar with some friends to watch the Packer/Bear game. It was enjoyable at first, but the Pack played so poorly the second half and the officiating was abysmal. So the game was lost and it took an hour longer than expected. So now it is almost Ten and I still have Sales to do. Stupid Bears, and Ellen laughed because of how important it is to me, Tim understands.

Why Sullie rules the park

Tonight we went to the dog park. Just after we got there a basset hound tried to hump Sullie. Sullie responded by trying to bite the little dog. After that no one bothered Sullie. He walked up a mound of dirt and was the king of the hill. Tonight Ellen made some sort of dinner that was decent but not her best work. The homemade rolls were very good.
Ellen was correct that the Diamondbacks would win the series against the Cubs. We were fortunate to see old footage of Favre win the Superbowl and last weeks victory over the Viqueens. Ellen took pictures of Sullie wrapped in a blanket (they will be on the blog at a later date). I spent the morning and afternoon writing a motion to compel discovery and the memorandum of authority in support. It was a joy.
Well that is it for now.

Our Evening

This Friday was enjoyable. It was a good break from the long week. Ellen and I took a walk with the puppies when she got home from work. We then walked to the nearby Papa Murphy and ordered a delight. We then proceeded to eat the whole pizza and watch Man vs. Wild. It is a quality program. This weekend we are not to busy. I have to write a memorandum of understanding for a motion to compel and then on Sunday we are going to go out with some friends to watch the Packers destroy the Bears. Go Pack. It is a joy to know that the Vikings are never going to amount to anything. It is almost time to go to sleep, but I think I will see what else is on tv first and eat another donut.

First one

Hello
this is my blog. I am currently not doing what I am supposed to be doing but I am tired. Ellen is at work and the dog children are at home sleeping. We instructed them to clean while we were away, but they never seem to want to clean.

The Packers are 4-0 and the Broncos are bad. It is a good day. I suppose I should get back to school.
